WITHOUT DELAY, DESCEND TO THE LOWEST SAFE ALTITUDE OR 14,000 FT, WHICHEVER IS HIGHER
TO DESCEND: MOVE THE THRUST LEVERS TO IDLE EXT THE SPEEDBRAKES IF STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY IS IN DOUBT, LIMIT AIRSPEED AND AVOID HIGH MAN LOADS DESCEND AT VMO/MMO

INITIATE THE RECOVERY
- HOLD CONTROL COLUMN FIRMLY
- DISENGAGE AP DISCONNECT AT
- SMOOTHLY APPLY NOSE DOWN ELEVATOR TO REDUCE AoA UNTIL BUFFET OR STICK SHAKER STOPS. MAY NEED NOSE DOWN STAB TRIM
CONTINUE THE RECOVERY:
- ROLL SHORTEST DIRECTION TO WINGS LEVEL
- ADV THR LEVERS AS NEEDED
- RETRACT SB
- DO NOT CHANGE CONFIG
- – DURING LIFTOFF, IF FLAPS ARE UP, CALL FOR F1
COMPLETE RECOVERY:
- CHECK AIRSPEED AND ADJUST THR AS NEEDED
