Angiooedema
- swelling under the skin
- usually a reaction to a trigger like medication
- can cause swelling of the hands, legs and lips

- severe allergic reaction that can constrict airways and stop breathing

- neck trauma that can cause disection to the carotid artery
surgical emphysema
- air or gas is in the subcutaneous fat/tissue
decorticate posturing?
