A

I look at the measurements and if I feel they are wrong I will double check by taking them again.

• What are the benefits and problems of using a laser measure?

A

A laser measure is quick to use.

Not always good for measuring outside.

Limited for long distances like say a 100/200 m garden.

• How might you go about calibrating a laser measure?

A
  • On my disto you take an area which is measured using a tape measure and then record 10 measurements.
  • Add these measurements to the DISTO spreadsheet which then calculates the Accuracy of your model.
