Select Secondary Egn Page Start Timer and Note: Oil qty / - APU AIR-ELEC / NO FUEL
“Start ____” Pull Start Sw (observe light / - EGT limit / start pressure 17psi or >)
-GE: 15% N2 / PW 20% N2 or max motor, no less than 15%-
Fuel Lever On
-Normal fuel flow
-EGT rise within 25 sec
-At 45% - 52%, start switch pops in and light out
-N1/N2 20/40/60
-EGT / Oil Press = Normal
SHUT DOWN ENGINE IF - GE - No N1 30 sec after N2 idle - PW - No N1 by 40% N2 Start Switch Pops In and Light Extinguishes "Start Valve Closed" Observed Oil Gulp: GE 4-6 qts / PW 8-12 qts
“Start________” after EGT peak (redline removed) or start valve closed if Capt watches EGT peak

Air Manual / MD-10
- Bleeds OFF
- Isol Valves ON
- Packs OFF
FO After Start
- ANTI - ICE (if req) ON / OFF
- APU AIR OFF and OFF
Air Manual / MD-10
- Bleeds ON
- Isol Valves OFF
- Packs ON
FO Before T/O (Cleared to Configure)
- CONFIG page Select
- Auto Spoilers Arm
- Flaps T/O
- Trim Verify +/- 2° from T/O page
- Flight Controls Free
FO Before T/O (Below the Line)
- Radar ON
PM After T/O
- Spoilers Disarm
- ABS (if installed) OFF
- Flaps Selector T/O select (MD-11 = 15° / MD-10 = 0° or stop)
PM In-Range
- Windshield anti-ice ON
- Seat belt sign ON
- Wing and RWY turnoff lights ON
- STATUS page Check
PM Before Landing
- Auto Spoilers ARM
- ABS (if installed) As briefed
*No smoking sign on when cleared to land
FO Post Flight
- ACARS Print Fuel / Closeout
2. EFB STBY 4 hours or no power
FO After Landing
- Lights As req.
- Spoilers Retract
- ABS(if installed) OFF
- Flaps / Slats UP / RET (unless landing in icing conditions, MD-11 28° / MD-10 22°)
- WX radar OFF
- Trim 3°/2°ANU (MD-11 / MD-10)
- Oxygen Check
- APU (if required) OFF / ON
FO Shutdown
- FDAS Disarm
