Signs: diarrhoea, weight loss, anorexia, steatorrhea

Describe Small bowel bacterial overgrowth? Treatment? Signs?

A

diarrhoea, steatorrhea, macrocytic anaemia – E.coli or bacteroides.
Lab: low cobalamin and high folate levels
Treatment: surgical correction of anatomical blind loop
