Large animals: 10-20 l
Small ruminants, swine: 0,5-2 l
Carnivores: 20-200 ml
The Hetzel pump (modified) same as for horses used to pump paraffin oil into stomach
• never use the same that are used for horses

Preparates (in Hungary):
- Isoxsuprinum lacticum (Hanegif inj. A.U.V.): has been withdrawn
- Clenbuterol (Planipart inj. A.U.V.): beta 2 receptors not to be used in food producing animals
o is not registered (in Hungary)
o but registered as bronchodilatators: Spiropent solution and tablets (human)
o Ventipulmin inj. and granulate (A.U.V.)
o cattle: not allowed, horse: 2.7ml/100 kg bw.,iv.

Other preparates (in Hungary):
- Butylscopolaminum (Buscopan comp. inj. A.U.V.): o effect for 4-6 h, cattle (iv., im.), o horse(iv.):20-30ml o swine: 5-10 ml (im.) o dog: 1-2.5 ml (sc., iv.) o but not allowed for cats!
