clinical uses
alternative to beta-lactam for surgical prophy, alternative for skin/soft tissue caused by staph, alternative for toxo, combination with penicillin for toxic shock, combination with quinine for falciparum.
adverse affects
diarrhea, pseudomembranous colitis.
