Jewish people will celebrate the day of atonement during the festival of Yom Kippur where they will fast for 25 hour sand visit the synagogue to pray. This shows God how sorry they are for any mistakes they have made in the past.

Jews believe that God created humans differently from other animals giving them a soul and the ability to make free decisions.
As life is a gift from God it should be cherished from conception to natural death. Any deliberate killing of an innocent person is always wrong because everyone is made in the image of God.
How will this change a jewish persons life?
Orthodox Jews will try to do all they can to protect human life so they Will attend peaceful marches against euthanasia laws being changed in the uk.
they will campaign for people to be supported with their pregnancies and provide better parenting support or adoption for an alternative to abortion.

It is a Saving of a life including the breaking of a mitzvah.
God created life in his image therefore life is sacred. To save a life takes priority over all but thee of the mitzvot (idolatry, incest and adultery)
