- 2 umbilical arteries
2. 1 umbilical vein
When do fetal vessels become more apparent?
In the second trimester
What is allantois closely associated with?
The umbilical cord
- part of connecting stalk
What does the allantois contain?
Liquid waste early in pregnancy
What are 2 other names for vitelline ducts?
- Omphalomesenteric duct

8th week

- Presence of a Gestational Sac
- location within the uterus - Presence/absence of a Yolk Sac
- Presence of embryo
- Presence/absence of cardiac activity

- Fetal anatomy as appropriate
- Uterus, ovaries, adnexal structures and cul-de-sac
