How to form conditional verbs
Godan: Final -u (sound) becomes -e (equivalent) + ば
Ichidan: Drop ~る and add ~れば
Irregular:
する => くれば
くる => すれば
How to form conditional adjectives
い adjectives: Drop ~い and add ~ければ
な adjectives: ~な becomes ~なら
- The above is also for nouns
Difference between ~ば、~と、~たら
When: ~ば、~と、~たら
If: ~ば、~たら
Once: ~たら
Note: ~たら is less formal than ~ば and can be used in more scenarios.
