Note: から (from) can be used instead of に when you received something from a organisation and not a person.
私の日本語の先生に文法を習いました。
I learnt a piece of grammar from my Japanese language teacher.
大学からせいせきもらいます。
I will receive a grade from the university.
How to say you have already done something.
もう(already) verb ました
もうへやでそうじしました。
I have already finished cleaning in the room.
How to answer the question もう verb ましたか in both the positive and negative.
Positive: はい、もう verb ました
Negative: いいえ、まだです
When can particles sometimes be omitted?
In informal speech between close people, particles can be omitted when it is clear how the words relate.
