What is the “Razzle Dazzle Effect”?
When presentations have too much going on
- when discussing accommodations for special needs; less is actually more & avoids overstimulating everything

What is the Identification Placement Review Committee (IPRC)?
Committee that ensures the student is getting the best possible education
- school gathers documents (assessments, diagnosis, evaluations, etc)
- Parents & the student should be deeply involved

What are the 5 different placements for a student?
1.) Regular class with resource assistance
2.) Regular class with resource withdrawal
3.) Regular class with indirect support
4.) Special education class full time
5.) Special education class with partial integration

A student who has been IPRC’d

Outlines the strengths & needs of individual
- lists the accommodations/adaptations set out for them that the teacher must follow

What are the 3 main categories of accommodations listed in an IEP?
1.) Instructional - proximity, vice, rules/routines…
2.) Environmental - curtains, lighting, chairs…
3.) Assessment - anecdotal, oral assessments, no timed, etc

Involves human kinetics like muscles contracting & joints moving to build heart health
