Technical skills

managers need to be able to think analytically and creatively to solve problems: analytically-long range goals and step by step plan to achieve

be able to express oneself adequately, the ability to listen to others

relate to being recognized and having a sense of self-worth. Promotions, increased opportunity for job enrichment, employee recognition, and status symbols such as a private office satisfy these needs.
Self-actualization
s characterized by personal growth and fulfillment; valuable contribution
Transcendence,
is achieved when an employee gains satisfaction from assisting in the development of others’ competencies and character.
