What is a Synagogue?
A house of Assembly, where Jews meet for prayer, worship and study.

What is often on the side of Synagogues?
A symbol such as the star of David or a Menorah

A school, or place of study.
Why is the Synagogue important?
It is the centre of the Jewish religious community. It is a social centre. Its a focal point for celebrations and festivals.
