There are 2 basic types of vacates. Vacates with seals, and vacates without seals. Generally speaking, when would a vacate with seals be initiates? (4.4)
In general, a public or commercial premise should only be sealed if it had been previously vacated and is found to be open and operating on a second visit.
NOTE: This shall not apply to dwelling units or other spaces lawfully used for residential purposes. Although Vacate Orders may be issued for residential premises, they shall not be ordered sealed or secured in the manner described in this section.
Following a vacate & seal, the keys for the padlocks used to secure the premise shall be retained by: (4.4.1)

You are working in Batt 4 when a covering Lt calls from E28 to say that a note on the BISP clipboard states E28, performing weekly surveillance was denied access last week and that the search warrant process was activated. He wants to know if he still has to perform a weekly inspection today on BISP. You would be correct to tell him…… (10.6)
While awaiting the search warrant process, units shall continue to conduct surveillance inspections. If during this time a unit is able to gain entry and conduct a surveillance inspection, the Officer shall contact the Legal Division and cancel the application for the search warrant.
