A
present within 4.5hrs
no contraindications to thrombolysis

anterior circulation stroke

good baseline function
no significant early infarct on CT

if hyperacute treatments not offered, give aspirin 300mg OD for 2wks
if hyperacute rx given, aspirin start 24hrs
