What is an inket printer?
a type of printer that produces high quality images by spraying tiny droplets of ink onto paper or other printersble materials.
What are the pros of an inkjet printer?
They are inexpensive and quiet compared to other printers.
What are the cons of an inkjet printer?
the ink is expensive, the cartridges are proprietary and only avaiable from the printer manufacturer, the ink eventually fades, very prone to clogging.
What are the colours in the cartridge?
CMYK (Cyan, magenta, yellow and black)
What is the print head usually like on this printer?
It is usually integrated into the ink cartridge
How is the ink moved across the page?
By a carriage and a belt.
How do you know the printhead may need to be changed?
If there are streaks or missing color.
What is a common issue with printers?
paper jams.
