What is an RJ11 connector?
a jack connector used for connecting analog telephone and DSL internet. Its referred to as a 6 position 20 conductor (6P2C)
What is an RJ45 connector?
a jack connector, similar in appearance to an RJ11. But is used for ethernet, and is the most common type of connector used for connecting devices to LAN and WAN. This is an 8 position 8 conductor (8P8C)
What is an F-Connector?
a coaxial cable connector commonly used for connecting television, cable and other RF equipment.
What is a punch down block?
also known as a punch down panel or punch block, is a hardware component used in telecommunications and networking installations to terminate and organize twisted pair of cables.
What is an LC connector?
stands for Local Connector. a type of fiber connector used in networking and telecommunications. It is known for its small size, performance and reliabilty.
What is an ST connector?
Straight tip. a type of fiber connection used for connecting fibers in networking enviroments. This one uses a bayonet connection. no longer used much as LC has mostly replaced it.
What is an SC connector?
a type of fiber connector. stands for Subscriber Connector or Square Connector.
