What are the 3 assumptions of the area?

A
  • Individuals differ in their behaviour and person characteristics- so not everyone can look like the average person (we should focus on these differences to explain behaviour)
  • All human characteristics can be measured and quantified- we can distinguish differences by comparing these characteristics
