16
Q

What indication will you get on the E/WD memo section when the PTU is operating

A

HYD PTU (green)

17
Q

When will PTU operation be automatically inhibited?

A

1) When the ENG-MASTER switches are in opposite positions (one ON other OFF) and EITHER:

 - Parking Brake is on OR
  - Nose wheel steering is disconnected by towing lever on the nose gear

2) When yellow electric pump is activated through either cargo door operation

18
Q

What is the meaning of the FAULT light in the PTU pb

A

As a result of any of the following in the Green or Yellow System
- Hydraulic Fluid Overheat
- Low Air Pressure
- Low Hydraulic Fluid Level

19
Q

Does the FAULT light in the PTU pb represent the status or condition of the PTU?

A

No

20
Q

What does the RAT MAN ON pb on the Hyd Panel do? WIll the emergency Gen energize if you push this pb

A

1) Manually Deploys the RAT which provides alternate power to the Blue System

2) Will NOT energize the emergency GEN.

21
Q

If the Blue Electric Pump fails, will the RAT automatically deploy?

A

No, must be manually deployed
