2) MECH - COCKPIT CALL light illuminates on the external power panel and external horn sounds
3) FWD - HI/LO chime sounds in the FWD section of the cabin and CAPTAIN CALL appears in the FWD FA Panel
4) AFT - HI/LO chime sounds in the AFT section of the cabin and CAPTAIN CALL appears at the AFT FA Panel
5) EMER - ON in white and CALL in amber flash in the pb, HI/LO chime sounds 3 times throughout the cabin. EMERGENCY CALL appears on the FA Panels

What will the GND CTL pb do on the RCDR panel

A

1) ON (blue) - CVR and DFDR are actively recording
2) AUTO (light out) - CVR and DFDR automatically start recording with first engine start.

A

Erase the CVR tape if the button is pressed for a brief time provided

1) Aircraft is on ground
2) Parking brake is on
