Important because it keeps conditions constant for enzyme action and cell functions. Controls Blood Glucose Concentration, Body Temperature, Water and Ion Levels

Cells which detect stimuli which is changes in the environment

Such as Brain, Spinal Cord, Pancreas which receive and process information from receptors
