Power Distance
Extent that people accept that power and wealth is distributed unequally. Low power distance = expect equality
Uncertainty Avoidance
Extent to which people attempt to minimise uncertainty. Rules regulations
Individualism v Collectivism
Extent to which people are expected to look after themselves rather than support others
Masculinity v Femininity
Masculine cultures highly competitive and powerful
Feminine focus on caring and quality of life
Long-term Orientation
Higher orientation, more the society looks to future and accepts new ideas rather than tradition
Indulgence v Restraint
Indulgent societies allow people to satisfy their desires and impulses.
