A
- The cloth trade was 90% of the value of british exports
- It is estimated that there was a 60% increase in the value of exports under henry 7th
- This led to demand for finish cloth which dominated the trade industry, and this led to expandison of trading activities into rural atras which supplemented agrarian incomes
- Increased amount of trade was exported through london to anthwerp, which highlighted londons dominance in the trade industry
- Merchent adventurers weren’t able to dominate the market due to them not enjoying the same indsutry priveleges as the hanseatic league
- This was since henry renewed terms of the hanseatic league in 1504 fearing they might support rebels
- this is since henry always feared they might support a yorkist claimant
