Q

How do diseases infect us if we have defence systems

A

Diseases infect us when pathogens like viruses invade the body, enter cells (like white blood cells), rapidly reproduce inside them, and eventually burst them open, spreading more pathogens and weakening the immune response.

Q

How would i test for the presence of glucose in fruit

A

To test for the presence of glucose in plants, you can use Benedict’s solution. First, boil a small sample of the plant’s sap or extract with Benedict’s solution. If glucose is present, the solution will change from blue to green, yellow, orange, or red, depending on the amount of glucose.

17
Q

How do pathogens cause disease and make us to feel ill

A

Reproduce binary through Binary Fission. They also release toxins which damage tissues

18
Q

How do viruses make us ill

A

They reproduce rapidly causing damage to cells
