include migraines and cluster headaches
cluster headaches
usually occur as a series of one-sided headache that are sudden, intense, and may continue for 15 minutes to 4 hours / symptoms include - nasal congestion, drooping eyelid, irritated or watery eye / more common in men than women
migraines
last several minutes to several days / characterized by intense or throbbing pain, photosensitivity, nausea, vomiting, and sweats / frequently unilateral and may be preceded by an aura / more common in women than men
tension
produces a dull, achy pain that feels like a forceful pressure is being applied to the neck and/or head
organic
3rd less common / occur due to tumors, infections (especially sinus infections), or other diseases of the brain, eye, or other body system
