Located in the Macedonia region of Greece, Naoussa is a high-altitude region of up to 400M, which cools the grapes. This region is famous for its reds made from Xinomavro, which is commonly compared to Nebbiolo.
What are the characteristics of Xinomavro?
Similar to Nebbiolo, high tannin, high acid, lighter in colour. Earthy and fresh fruit aromas with aging potential.

Makes red wine exclusively from Agiorgitiko grape. Altitudes of 230-900M with the best sites in the middle. A great region for bulk wines made for early consumption.
What are the qualities of Agiorgitiko?
deep ruby colour, high tannin, lower acid. Suitable for rose wines.
