Compound Noun
A noun that combines other nouns (short cake, suntan)
Collective Noun
A noun that describes multiple of one thing (flack of birds, pod of police, group of people)
Abstract noun
The opposite of a concrete noun. This noun names things that can not be perceive through the 5 senses
Possessive Noun
A noun that shows ownership to another noun
Common noun
To refer to a person, place or thing in a general sense
