- visual inspection for adult worm
- cellophane tape or adhesive paddle test
Non-pharmacologic therapies for pinworms:
- personal hygiene
- hot cycle for washing clothes
- bathe daily

Pharmacologic therapies for pinworms:
pyrantel pamoate (Pin-X, Pyrantel) - max single dose: 1 g
