  • Genetic:

  • Mendel’s Pea Plants:
  • Produce large number of offspring.
  • Reproduce sexually.
  • Can be artificially cross-pollinated.
  • Removed the pollen-bearing male part of a plant to prevent self-pollination.
  • He then brushed pollen from one plant onto the flower of another.
  • Insects do this when they eat nectar and pollen gets stuck on them and then brushes off on another plant.
  • Have several contrasting characters.​
