A

Mitsos and Browne- females were more successful in coursework and due to better organisation than boys as they are correctly equipped and spends more time on the work and meet deadlines.

EVALUATION- do all girls achieve?

A

Archer- believed that w/c girls develop a ‘hyper-heterosexual feminine identities’ where girls invest time, effort and money in constructing this identity to aim status from their peers instead of studying. They get invested into boyfriends which get in the way of schoolwork and aspirations which can result in drop pouts due to teen pregnancy’s.
