Frequencies (Nav/EQMT) Flashcards
GPS transmission frequency and channels.
300 - 3,000MHz, on “L1” and “L2”.
VHF comms frequency ranges.
118-137MHz (civil), 138-144MHz (mil), 230-329MHz (mil), 335-400MHz (mil).
NDB transmission frequency and identifier tone, and signal range.
Transmits at 225-526KHz, 1020Hz identification tone. 25 NM range for approach, 50NM for en-route.
ADF frequency reception range.
190 - 1750KHz.
VDF reception range.
118-144MHz.
VOR frequency range, identifier tone, and bearing display range.
108-118MHz, but only the even numbered tenths between 108 and 112, because it is sharing that space with the localiser. Ident tone is 1020Hz. Bearing show up to 10 degrees either way at maximum deflection.
DME frequency range and identification tone.
962 - 1213MHz, 1350Hz identification tone.
Localiser transmission frequency range and actual range.
108-112MHz, odd numbered tenths only. Range of 25NM.
Glide path signal range and frequency range.
329-335MHz, 10NM range.
