Generally the foal appears normal at birth, then they get ill and and cant fight of infections.

• Weight loss
• Aneamia
• Nasal discharge
• Coughs

No real treatment available, only supportive. So fluids, housing care etc

Very Fatal

Dont breed carriers as this would reduce the gene pool by 50%

Agammaglobulinemia
Selective IgM deficiency

How would FPS be diagnosed?

Generally at PM (will see lymph nodes are under active/ under developed.
Blood tests- normally will see that less than 10% of normal lymphocyte production as they are not being produced by IS
