Decrease in the number of RBC’s which can be regenerative or nonregenerative

How can acute anaemia be caused?

A

(Suddenly occuring)

Haemorrage- internally/ externally
Isoerythrolysis- through toxins, poisons or IMHA

A

(Slowly and gradual)

Parasitism
Diet (lack of Cu, Co etc)
Aplastic anaemia (decreased RBC production)
