What is Finkelstein’s test?

A

A test used to diagnose De Quervain’s tenosynovitis by having the patient make a fist with the thumb inside the fingers and then moving the wrist towards the little finger. Pain at base of thumb suggests further evaluation should be done to diagnosis disease
