What is Ameloblastoma?

A
  • Benign more common on mandible and posterior region.
  • Most common age 20-40
  • Occurs in both females and males
  • Slow growing
  • Expansion of bone
  • Associated with Impacted tooth and Dentigerous cyst
  • Lesions** resistant **to radiation and chemotherapy
  • Do** NOT** tent to recur

  • Benign
  • Sheets of polyhedral cells
  • Occurs in adults both F and M
  • Occurs mostly in the Posterior Mandible region
  • Asymptomatic and grows slowly while expanding the bone
