  • Ardi - 1.2m and 50kg, may be able to walk upright, long arms and big toes that were on the side of feet (able to climb trees)
  • Lucy - 1.7m, could probably walk upright, toes were of modern human but very curved
  • Homoerectus - 1.7m and strongly built. proved that humans evolved from Africa and not Asia
