Multi-Casualty is 0-24 patients. Per TFD any incident involving 4 or more patients needing medical evaluation
Mass-Casualty Incident is 25-49 patients. Per TFD any incident with 7 or more ALS patients
Medial Disaster Incident is 50+ patients
What are the benchmarks for an MCI?
- All patients triaged
- All Immediate patients transported
- All patients transported
How many patients can MC06 handle?
-If you have more than that who can you call for help?
200 patients
-NWFD has the only other ALS patient capability
Who do you contact if someone has an official complaint against TFD?

What are the steps to handling an external complaint?
- Interview crew members
- Have them write memos explaining what their actions were
- Review any reports by pulling them from Rescue Net
- You write a memo on what you found and submit to your chief
- Wait for complainant to return the complaint form
