When approaching site for clearance respirator and heavy leather gloves (not rawhide) are to be worn
If water/moisture is present to create osmosis/absrobtion risk surgical gloves to be worn under leather gloves
On top of first aid precaustions, 40lt water, wet blanket to be provided. Medics to have WP equipment

Who can open a SDK and when?

A

Only a qualified DMEO operator and when required for a task.

What components are to be returned after with the SDK at the end of a practice or activity for which it was drawn?

A

All unexpended components including packaging pieces, detonator containers and caps. FBT offcuts are to be burnt and detcord under 1m destroyed.
