eating the right foods in the correct amounts
enables us to work and exercise

if we eat too little with a high amount of exercise you could become under weight
if we eat too much in relation to the exercise we do you could become overweight

Provides energy ( eaten in moderation)
Easily stores in body which leads to weight gain
