A
- Minimum of 5 minutes of irreversible cardiac arrest from the termination of resuscitation efforts
- Absent pupillary light response, corneal reflexes or response to pain

A
Update control with ToD
Ensure diagnosis of death from is completed on EMAS EPR
Complete LNAA Handover summary
Involve Police

Outline the particulars for the care of a patient after death
A
Maintain dignity
Can move the body after speaking to Police
Support family
Can remove medical devices if not suspicious
Ensure code summary with ETCO2 values is obtained
