Describe the daily CD check
A
- All CD pouches, cabinet and out-of-date cabinet
- Entry in all the books - daily check - signed by both clinicians
- Follow reporting CD incidents SOP if discrepancy is found

Describe the process of receiving CDs into stock
A
- Check the contents against the supply invoice - notify courier and sending pharmacy and don’t accept order
- If collected from pharmacy, check with pharmacy staff
- Put new drugs in the live stock CD cabinet
- Document receipt of new stock in appropriate ledger
