pharyngeal movement, parotid gland, middle ear, pharynx, posterior 1/3rd of the tongue, taste on posterior 1/3rd of the tongue, tactile sensation on external and middle ear; origination: Pons/medulla

pharyngeal and laryngeal muscles, viscera of the thoracic and abdominal cavities, tactile sensation to the external ear canal, pain sense from mucous membranes of pharynx, larynx, esophagus, trachea, and thoracic and abdominal viscera, taste from epiglottis/pharynx; origination: Medulla
