what happens to the body when you get coronary heart disease
The coronary arteries become blocked by fatty deposits (plaques) which prevent the blood flowing properly to the heart muscle

how plaques ( fatty deposits) form
it forms when some people have a diet that contains a lot of saturated fat
what can saturated fat do to the body
can increase the levels in the blood of a fatty substance called cholesterol which is naturally produced in the body
what happens of the cholestrol is too high
it will build up and block the coronary arteries that supply the heart muscle with blood and oxygen and if the heart muscle does not receive enough oxygen from the blood as the arteries are blocked then this can result in a heart attack
