  • Smoking Hx
  • Dyspnoea that is progressive, persistent and worse with exercise
  • Chronic cough
  • Chronic sputum production
  • Family Hx COPD

What is the management for all exacerbations of COPD?

A

Irrespective of severity:
Salbutamol 10mg (5mL)
Ipratropium Bromide 500mcg (2mL)
Dexamethasone 8mg IV/Oral

A

Titrate to SPO2 of 88-92%, consider low flow O2 via nasal prongs.
