- LOC exceeds 1/4 dot
- GLIDE EXCEEDS 1 dot
- LOSS LOC signal
- LOSS of GLIDE above 100’
- RA’s have a difference of 15’+
- last AP disconnects
- UNTIMELY/LONG FLARE detected by FMGS

DURING A LVP APP WHAT ARE THE REQUIRED ACTIONS IF YOU HAVE A SYSTEM FAILURE?
ABOVE 1000’ - resolve by 1000’ or go around. amend DH if appropriate
1000’ to AH (100’) - any failure leading to downgrade of FMA implies a go-around.
200’ RA & below - RED AUTOLAND requires immediate go-around
100’ (AH) - continue except RED autoland

FAIL-OPERATIONAL failure below AH (100’), approach, flare & landing completed automatically.
FAIL-PASSIVE AP will disconnect with no significant out of trim but landing will not be automatic. Pilot MUST assume control and land if visual references allow and is safe to do so.
