SECTION III CONDUCT OF VESSELS IN RESTRICTED VISIBILITY
Rule 19 a)
Conduct of vessels in Restricted Visibility
a) not in sight, near or in restricted visibility
b)
b) proceed at safe speed adapted, PDV will have engines ready for manoeuvre
c)
c) Every vessel, due regard when complying with section I of this part (rules 4-10)

d) Radar alone, early action, AS FAR AS POSSIBLE these actions are to be avoided:
i) alteration of course to port for a vessel fwd of the beam, other than when overtaking such vessel
ii)alteration of course towards a vessel abeam or abaft the beam
e)
e) Except when a it has been determined a ROC does not exist, when hearing apparently fwd of the beam a fog signal, reduce speed to minimum speed required to keep on course
if necessary, take way off and navigate with extreme caution
