Nucleic acid amplification test ( gold standard )
- PCR detect the organisms RNA or DNA from vaginal swab

Treatment
A
Doxycycline or azithromycin or levofloxacin
Azithromycin for pregnant
If gonococcal infection is suspected ( azithromycin + ceftriaxone )
