what is the difference between heat stress and heat illness?
Heat stress is the buildup in the body of heat generated by your muscles during work and by a warm or hot work environment.
Heat illness includes disorders that can occur when the body is subjected to more heat than it can cope with

Heat factors - temperature, heat humidity, sunlight
Work load - body produces heat when it works harder
PPE - layers of clothing interfere with bodies natural cooling
Water intake - need to drink enough water to replace sweat

What steps should you take in cases of heat illness?
get the victim into a shaded or cooler area
remove PPE and other clothing
cool the victim as quickly as possible by sponging or splashing the skin with cool water
have the victim drink as much cool water as possible
