area of a rectangle = length times width
area of triangle = (base * height)/2
area of a circle = 3.14 x radius to the power of 2 (radius is one half the diameter)

divide by 43560 to get number of acres

Formula: How much total spray mix and/or product you need to make a given application

total spray volume needed = total acres * gallons of spray applied per acre

tankfuls needed = gallons of spray needed / spray tank capacity

acres sprayed by tank = gallons of spray in tank / gallons of spray per acre

amount of product needed in tank = acres sprayed by tank * amount of product per acre

amount of product to buy = total number of acres to be treated * amount of product per acre

covert the amount of spray mix and product need from a per acre basis to a per 1000 sq feet basis and vice versa

amount needed per 1000 sq ft = amount of product or spray rate need per acre / 43.56

amount needed per acre = amount of product needed per 1000 sq ft X 43.56
